Glow Health is a MOH-licensed medical service operated by Dr Charis Au, providing perimenopause and menopause care by remote provision in Singapore.

This policy explains what personal data we collect through glowhealth.sg, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

Through this website, we collect only:

• Your first name
• Your email address
• Whether you have agreed to receive emails from us
• Basic technical information your browser provides when you visit — IP address, device and browser type, and which pages you viewed

We do not collect medical information through this website. Please don't send us symptoms, diagnoses, medication lists or test results by email or through a form. Health information is collected during a consultation, where it can be handled properly and kept confidential.

Why we collect it

• To send you the Perimenopause Field Guide
• To add you to the waitlist and tell you when consultations open
• To send you occasional emails about perimenopause and midlife health, if you have agreed to receive them
• To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it

We will not use your details for any other purpose without asking you first.

Who else can see it

We use third-party services to run the website and send email. They can access your data only to provide that service to us, and not for their own purposes.

• HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel) — website hosting, forms, contact records and email delivery. Data is stored on servers in the United States.
• Google and Meta Analytics — website usage statistics.

Because some of these providers store data outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure your data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA when it is transferred overseas, as required under section 26 of the Act.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until two years after you last interacted with us — whichever comes first. After that, we delete them.

Your choices

At any time, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and how we have used it
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Stop sending you emails

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also write to us at [email protected] and we will act on your request. Withdrawing consent takes effect within 10 business days, and we will confirm once it is done.

Cookies

The website uses cookies to work properly and to measure how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Keeping it secure

We limit access to personal data to those who need it, use established service providers, and protect our accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.

No system is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you significant harm, or affects a significant number of people, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission within three calendar days as required, and tell you as soon as practicable.

Our Data Protection Officer is responsible for how we handle personal data. To ask a question, make a request, or raise a complaint:

We aim to respond within 10 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.

Not for emergencies

This website and our email address are not monitored around the clock, and are not a way to get help with an urgent medical problem. In an emergency in Singapore, call 995 or go to the nearest A&E.
